They'll be fine with the way we work. We pre-wet everything green before we treat, keep the solution on the concrete where it belongs, and rinse the beds down after. Diluted and rinsed, it's mostly spent by the time it reaches the ground, so a soaked plant shrugs it off.
It keeps its color when the tips match the finish, and that's exactly how we run it. A stamped or coated deck never sees the same pressure a plain slab does. We drop to gentler tips and let the solution do more of the work, so the surface comes clean without stripes or stripped spots.
Just keep paws off while we work and give it a short dry-down after. Once we've rinsed, what's left on the concrete is in the same family as the pool water they already trot through, and once the deck is dry it's theirs again.
A little, and we'd rather tell you up front than pretend otherwise. On a deck that wraps the water, some fine dirt and solution finds its way in no matter how careful the wash. We keep most of it off the coping and away from the edge, and our mix is in the same chlorine family your pool already runs on. Worst case, your pool tech rinses the filter and rebalances the pH.
That white line is calcium scale, and scale doesn't play by dirt's rules. It's mineral, not grime, so the deck wash itself barely touches it. Scale needs its own treatment, and even then it's lightened where it can be, not erased. We'll be straight with you about what's truly scale versus what's just buildup.

Our mix is in the same chlorine family the pool already runs on, so at most your pool tech rinses the filter and rebalances the pH.
Because hosing pushes the film around instead of killing it. That slick layer is organic growth living down in the concrete's texture, and it needs a real treatment to actually die. Once we pre-treat and post-treat, the grip comes back and stays back a lot longer.
Yes, when the pressure is matched to the finish, and that's the only way we run pool decks. Stamped and colored surfaces get gentler low-pressure tips with the solution carrying the load, so the color and pattern stay put while the grime goes.
No draining, ever. We handle the prep: furniture gets moved, sensitive spots get covered or rinsed, and we work the edge carefully to keep runoff to a minimum, since a little still finds its way in. All you need to do is clear off the small stuff and keep the pets inside while we wash.

Our process, step by step
How we clean a pool deck the right way
The goal is simple: grip back under bare feet, finish untouched, and as little as possible in the water.
Broom-finish, stamped, colored, or coated, each one gets a different setup. We check the whole surround, coping stone included, before anything gets wet.
Furniture moved, plantings wet down, liner-edge and bleach-sensitive spots covered or set for a quick rinse. Screen enclosures get treated like glass, not obstacles.
The solution goes down first and gets its time to sit, killing the growth in the texture. Then the wash: surface cleaner on plain slab, gentler tips on anything with a finish to protect.
A final treatment knocks out what the wash exposed, then everything nearby gets rinsed. The deck dries out clean, grippy, and slower to grow that film back.
