Not the way we run it. A surface cleaner spreads the force across a wide, flat path instead of driving it into one point, which is exactly what old concrete wants. The pours around Mollohon and the older streets cured hard long before we ever showed up, and they take a proper clean well. Where the surface has flaked, we drop to gentler tips and let the chemistry do more of the work.
Wherever we send it. Most drives in this hill town have a natural fall, so we read which way the slab runs before we start, then rinse with the slope toward the street instead of fighting it. The water stays out of your garage and off your beds, and a sloped slab drains itself dry pretty quick.
We plan around them like they're ours. The strong mix stays down on the slab where it belongs. Beds along the edges start the day soaked with plain water, so any stray splash hits wet leaves and rolls off, and a final rinse on the way out finishes the job.
Not if we time it right, and we will. Pets wait inside while we're working, and the slab stays off limits until it's rinsed and dry. Once it's dry, it's just clean concrete again, fine for paws, bare feet, and whatever the dog drags across it.
Those will lighten some, and we'll say up front how far. That orange is red clay splashed up by rain, and clay stains are iron, the same family as rust, so a pressure wash may not fully lift them. Iron takes its own separate treatment, which we can quote once we see how deep it's set.
Both. We're working big machines right beside your parked cars and up against the garage front, so insured work isn't paperwork to us. It's what covers your vehicles and your home if something goes wrong.

How the quote works
Concrete has to be seen before it can be priced honest. Here's the short version.
Call or send the form and tell us what you're seeing. The green creeping in from the shady edge, the clay at the apron, or a slab that's just gone grey all over.
A driveway is one of the fastest jobs on our board to slot in, and it pairs well with a house wash if you'd like both looked at in one trip.
Before there's a number, we check the age of the pour, the flaked spots, and any clay, rust, or oil marks, and we walk you through what a wash may not fully lift.
Free and in person. You get the number while we're standing at the driveway together, and it's the same number when we come back to do the work.

Questions, answered
Yes, the whole town, from Mollohon out to the Country Club side of town. The older in-town drives and the newer pours out that way each need a different touch, and we bring the setup for both.
Most drives here stay ahead of the buildup with a clean about every couple of years. Shade is the multiplier, since a drive under big trees greens up sooner than one in open sun. If yours isn't there yet, we'll say so and save you the money for when it counts.
Probably not all the way, and we'd rather tell you now than surprise you later. A degreaser can lighten a surface drip, but only so much, and a deep old stain may barely move because oil soaks into concrete like a sponge. We treat oil as its own separate job, and we won't promise it gone.
Yes, and more importantly it gets killed, not just scraped. The treatment runs down into the cracks and takes the moss out at the root, so it rinses away clean and comes back slower than it would after a plain blast. Deep-rooted weeds pushing up through soil in a wide crack are a different fight, and we'll point those out.
Not for the cleaning itself, no. It helps to be there for the quote, since we set the price standing at the driveway with you, but on wash day we just need the cars moved and the pets inside. You'll come home to a slab drying to one clean shade.
Very much so, and honestly those slabs make the most satisfying before-and-afters. Cracks and patches stand out mostly because the concrete around them is dark. Once the whole pour is clean, the patchwork fades into the background. We ease up around crumbling edges so we're not adding to the wear.

Driveway Cleaning in Newberry, the City of Friendly Folks
Back your car out of its usual spot and take a look at the driveway. There's a clean rectangle where it sat, and everything around it has gone dull grey with green creeping in at the edges. That rectangle is the concrete you actually own. The rest is algae and grime that moved in a little at a time, so slowly you stopped noticing. Getting the whole slab back to that shade takes order, not force. We kill the growth down in the pores first, run a professional surface cleaner slow so it dries one even color, and treat it again on the way out. The orange clay splashed up at the apron is a separate iron stain, and we'll tell you before we start that a wash alone may not lift it.
Newberry is an old inland mill town on the rolling red-clay hills of the lower Piedmont, about forty-five minutes up I-26 from Columbia. The housing tells its story: wood-sided mill houses in the West End, Mollohon, and Oakland villages, Victorian and Queen Anne homes along Main Street and College Street, and brick ranches from the decades after the war. There is no lake or river in town; what ages these exteriors is shade, humidity, and time. Mature trees hang over the older streets, north-facing walls stay damp into the afternoon, and painted wood and soft old brick hold that moisture longer than modern siding does. Around Newberry College and the Opera House, downtown blocks mix storefront masonry with some of the oldest painted exteriors in the county.
In Main Street, the West End, and Harrington Street, or anywhere else around Newberry, we come to you for driveway cleaning, no trip fee.
While we're at your Newberry place, we can knock out your concrete cleaning, pool deck cleaning, and deck washing too, all on the same trip with no second trip fee.

Our process, step by step
On old concrete, the order of the steps matters more than the strength of the machine. Here's ours.
We look at the whole pour before anything gets wet. Flaked spots, cracks, the clay at the apron. Oil and rust marks get flagged for exactly what they are, stains a wash may not fully lift without their own treatment.
Industrial-grade chemicals go across the dry slab and get their time to sit. This is the step a rushed job skips, and it's why rushed jobs green back up so fast.
The surface cleaner runs in slow, overlapping lines across the pour. No striping, no hot spots, and gentler tips wherever the concrete shows its age.
A last treatment evens the tone so no patch dries lighter than its neighbor, then everything rinses off with the slope. Before we load up, you walk it with us, and if a corner needs more attention it gets it before we go.
