Two Ways This Goes

The Bucket-and-Hose Afternoon vs. the Purified-Water Clean
Pure water dries clean because nothing rides along in it.

The DIY Afternoon

A ladder, a bucket, and streaks by sundown

  • Tap water dries and leaves its minerals right back on the glass
  • A towel full of grit scrubs that grit across the pane
  • Upper windows mean a ladder in the flower beds
  • The pollen haze comes back and you gave up a whole afternoon
Bub's method

The Purified-Water Clean

Ground-reach poles, soft brush, spot-free dry

  • Purified water dries clear because there's nothing in it to leave behind
  • Soft brush lifts pollen film without pressure at the seals
  • Tall glass reached from the ground, no ladder against your siding
  • Your afternoon stays yours and the view stays clear

No surprises, straight answers

The questions Prosperity homeowners
actually ask

Yes. This is a purified-water clean, not a chemical treatment, so what runs off the glass is just clean water and loosened pollen. And because we work from the ground with a pole, there's no ladder feet sinking into your mulch.

No, and that's exactly why we use this method on older glass. The brush is soft and the water flows at low volume, so nothing is pushing at that aged putty. Pressure near old glazing is how panes get loose. We don't bring pressure anywhere near it.

Not for us. Keep him inside and he can supervise from the sill, nose prints and all. We're working outside the glass the whole time, and nothing in the process is anything he can get into.

Streaks are what tap water leaves behind. It's full of dissolved minerals, and when it dries, those stay on the glass. Purified water has nothing in it to leave. It sheets off and dries clear on its own, which is the whole reason we use it.

That depends on how long it's been baking there. Fresh mineral spotting usually lifts with a standard clean. But if it's been baking on for seasons, it can etch into the glass, and that may not fully polish out. If we see that, we'll tell you what a deeper restoration looks like instead of pretending one pass fixed it.

Less risky than the alternative, which is a ladder leaned against your house. A pole controlled from the ground is far kinder to glass, glazing, and landscaping. Less climbing, less risk, and full licensing and insurance sit behind it anyway.

How It Works

How Glass Gets Quoted

Short version: you ask, we look, you decide. The longer version is below.

1

The form takes a minute, or the phone works just as well. Tell us about the glass and what's been bugging you about the view.

2

There's always room on the calendar for glass. We work your side of the lake country regularly, so you're not waiting on us to get around to it.

3

Your tech looks at every window with you. Single-pane or tall glass, sprinkler spotting or pollen haze, we see it in person before anything gets quoted.

4

You get a firm number in person before any gear comes off the truck. If it works for you, we get to it.

Questions, answered

Common Prosperity window cleaning questions

Depends what's landing on them. Pollen builds every spring, so most glass in this area stays clear with a clean about every year-and-a-half to two years. If your windows face the lake or sit near sprinkler spray, the film shows up a little faster and you'll want to stay ahead of it.

Yes. We travel out here regularly, and the glass keeps us busy. The newer builds toward the Saluda-side coves around Osprey Pointe carry tall windows nobody wants to ladder, and the older homes in town have single-pane glass that needs a careful hand. We handle both.

Because purified water can't leave streaks. Regular water dries and deposits its minerals on the glass, which is why DIY cleaning always looks worse in the sun. Strip everything out of the water first and it dries clear on its own. The brush lifts the film, the rinse carries it off, done.

Depends how long they've been there. If your sprinklers pull from a well, that spray carries minerals, and recent spotting usually lifts with a standard clean. Spotting that's sat through seasons of sun can etch in, and that may not fully polish out. We'll tell you which one you've got when we see it, and what deeper restoration would involve if it's needed.

Yes. Screens catch a surprising amount of that pollen film themselves, and clean glass behind a dirty screen still looks hazy from inside. We clean them as part of the job so the whole window reads clear.

If your siding needs one, absolutely. A house wash rinses over the windows, and following it with a purified-water window clean is what makes the glass finish spot-free. Most folks bundle them since we're already set up at the house, and it's the best-looking result for the money.

First time using a company to clean the exterior of our home, because I’m very particular. We could not be more pleased. The cleaning of paint trim, gutters and windows exceeded expectations. The two young men performing the work were exceptionally polite and hard working. We’ll schedule their service again.

Window Cleaning in Prosperity, old Frog Level

Why Prosperity homeowners call us

Around here, two kinds of film end up on your windows. The first is that yellow-green pollen haze every spring, and it builds so slow you stop noticing the view got dull. The second is mineral spotting, the crusty white specks sprinklers leave when the spray drifts across the glass. They come off two different ways, and neither one wants a garden hose and a paper towel. The hose just moves dirty water around, and the towel grinds grit against the glass. We clean exterior glass with purified water and a soft brush on a water-fed pole, so the film lifts off and the water dries without leaving anything behind. Upper windows get reached from the ground most of the time, which your glazing and your flower beds both appreciate. When we're done, you notice the view again instead of the glass.

Prosperity is the quiet side of Newberry County's lake country, an old rail town built around a walkable square, with older clapboard and brick homes under mature shade trees in and around the Caldwell Street Historic District. Out past town the land stretches into acreage lots with long driveways and outbuildings, then drops to the Saluda-side coves of Lake Murray, where newer builds in Stewart Landing and The Pointes of Plantation Pointe sit close to the water. Damp air off the coves, deep tree shade in town, and red-clay Piedmont soil keep north-facing siding, roofs, and concrete greening up faster than most owners expect.

We bring our window cleaning to Stewart Landing, Stoney Hill, and Osprey Pointe and the rest of Prosperity, with the same crew and the same care.

While we're at your Prosperity place, we can knock out your house washing, roof cleaning, and brick cleaning too, all on the same trip with no second trip fee.

Veteran-owned, and we treat your home like it's ours.

Our process, step by step

A Window Clean, Pane by Pane

Here's the day-of, step by step, so you know exactly what's happening around your house.

Before the pole comes off the truck, we look at each pane. Older glazing gets flagged for a gentler touch, and heavy mineral spotting gets an honest read on what will lift and what may need more.

Purified water flows through the brush while it loosens the pollen film, grit, and ground splash from the glass and frames. No pressure, no scraping, nothing pushing at seals.

The water-fed pole reaches upper windows from below more often than not. That means no ladder against the house, no crushed beds, and steadier control at the glass.

We finish each window with a rinse of pure water and walk away. It sheets off and dries spot-free because there's nothing dissolved in it to leave behind.
